Average People Doing Extraordinary things!
This means you are not required to register for six or more fundamental classes before you are "allowed" to
participate in a CrossFit Class.
As a "newbie" (what we call any new members), you will start with a PVC pipe, then work your way up to a weight lifting bar (25 lb-45lb) and eventually to a bar with weights (scaled to your ability) once the trainers are comfortable with our skill
level. This allows you to watch and learn and gain encouragement from those who have been in you shoes.
Whether you're working out along side an experienced member or pairing up with another new member, you will feel
encouraged, successful and a part of a team that really does care about you.
There is no pounding of chests, flexing of muscles (ok a few of
our older members might do that once or twice but then again they should given that many can keep pace with the younger members) egomaniacs, just a great group of people who want to help you feel successful.
Drop in and watch a class, ask question and
then just "do it" as
they say because it won't be long before you'll become
addicted to lifting
and pushing yourself outside of your comfort zone.
